March 2, 2007: A sell out audience of 700 AIMIA members, industry leaders, media celebrities, federal and state members enjoyed the magnificent ambience of Sydney's State Theatre and applauded the 13th Annual AIMIA award winners. Entries were judged by 120 international and local industry experts.

Melbourne media and medical firm "Clinica Media" excelled in winning the "Best Emerging Exporter" category as well as being nominated for the "Best Government, Science and Health" award for the Lowbackpain CD-Rom.

AIMIA congratulated all award winners...BRW March 8th quote:

"The Australian Digital Media industry is rapidly expanding and these names are leading the way-setting the bar for content development and ultimately deciding media consumption habits. The innovation and excellence of these winners has allowed them to leave their mark on the industry and more importantly on the increasing number of Australians who are able to enjoy their talent."

The Melbourne based medical, physio and creative team at Clinica Media were proud to receive the award in recognition of a fantastic achievement in developing a unique information package and securing substantial sponsorships and sales in Australian and overseas markets.

“This is a fine reward for all the hard work and commitment by our team of talented digital and medical professionals. The Best Emerging Exporter award recognizes Clinica Media’s recent achievements and ability to ‘jump the big pond’ to gain success in international health markets particularly in the USA with the Lowbackpain CD-Rom and Lowbackpain.TV digital resources” said Denise Jury, Creative Director.

Clinica Media combines clinical, education and interactive design expertise to create and produce highly sophisticated resources for both patients and healthcare practitioners. This includes CD-Rom training tools, DVDs and online resources incorporating video on demand, with the focus on musculoskeletal and pain medicine; the key aim to improve patient outcomes.

Clinica Media is currently exploring further partnerships and sales in additional international markets and looks forward to continuing to promote Australia as a leading provider of quality healthcare information created in digital and novel formats.

This was a truly amazing ‘event’ with over 5000 delegates from around the globe. Lowbackpain.tv was launched as a live site to coincide with this meeting. ‘Minidiscs’ were eagerly snapped up at our Lowbackpain.TV booth! A number of companies approached the Clinica Media team about us filming their products/procedures in view of the quality on show.

We are proud that Lowbackpain.TV is a ‘generic’ site and will remain so, with NO advertising. The site does not lead to the presenters or their individual clinics, only to the Spine-clinic.net – find a physician website.
